I spent 5 days camping in Dot the Kombi with the dogs, mainly around the Stockton area. I love the industrial port of Newcastle and the gargantuan Freighters that come so close to the land as they come in to unload. Some of these were worked from life, others were from sketches back in the studio. Occasionally sea mist rolled in and in the early morning the hoot of the ships and the warning bell rolled out across the water.
